So it's a little over two weeks until the next cystoscopy and we get to have another little look inside my husband's bladder.
Not really sure how I'm feeling about it at the moment. Trying not to worry too much, but there is a part of me that is having to plan for two different outcomes and prepare for both. Obviously I'd much rather be concentrating solely on the happier outcome, but do have to think of what will happen if there is anything there this time around.
Poor Rik has been down with a cold for the last two weeks - has really taken it out of him, but guess that's to be expected. Hopefully coming out of the other side of it now though.
In other news, I was lucky enough to take my daughter to yet another preview, thanks to the wonderful Den of Geek, this time to Tim Burton's Frankenweenie. Stop-Mo has had such a brilliant year for films, IMO. Pirates! and Adventure with Scientists (Aardman) and ParaNorman (Laika) were both wonderful, and Frankenweenie must join them. It's not as visually stunning as the other two but the black and white lends itself very well to the film and it brings it's own ball to the game. We need more Stop-Mo films...people need to go see the Stop-Mo films!! It's a crying shame these films do not make more money, especially when worse CGI films are making bucketloads more...go see something beautiful, funny, engaging and so so creative!
This weekend we are all heading Oop North to attend my niece's wedding, which will be a lovely break. Baby Girl is staying with her grandparents, so we get to be grown ups having a lovely hotel room to ourselves for a couple of nights. :)
